DESCRIPTION:COMMUNITY JUDGES NEEDED Volunteering your time to this event will touch you like nothing else. There are all kinds of speech events. I had NO idea! You can be entertained from comedy to drama\, learn about topics you knew nothing about\, be challenged (persuasive) to do something you never considered and so much more! Debate is a little different\, but also worth it. They do have orientation sessions to help you do your best to be a fair and knowledgeable judge. Please go to the link\, sign up for a time slot or two\, mark your calendar and then show up. You will not regret the time you spend watching the next generation compete in these events. I always find myself feeling more hopeful about the future of our country. ? It's fun\, informative and rewarding. ? No prior experience is necessary! (A brief orientation will be provided to tell you everything you need to know.) ? Total time required is 3 hours\, including the orientation. ? Day and evening slots are available. ? Delicious refreshments will be provided. ? This is a national qualifying tournament. ? Judges must be 18 or older.
