2019 Summer Lecture Series: "FLoating Life" by Liz Ward
Texas artist and Trinity University professor of art and art history Liz Ward will offer insights into her work with the program “Floating Life: Mississippi River Drawings” to launch the Tyler Museum of Art’s 2019 Summer Lecture Series on Sunday, May 19. The program begins at 2:30 p.m. in the TMA’s Education Gallery. Admission is free but seating is limited. Call (903) 595-1001 to reserve a spot. Works from two of Ward’s major series are the focus of the TMA exhibition “Floating Life: Mississippi River Drawings by Liz Ward,” open to the public May 19-Aug. 25 in the Museum’s North Gallery.
