About Us

ITCS (Interpreting Training & Consulting Services, LLC) was founded by Margaret “Maggie” Patterson and Betty Kyle to improve communication access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals while supporting the professional development of interpreters. Based in East Texas, ITCS has expanded over the years and now serves clients across a broader region.

ITCS partners with schools, businesses, and community organizations to provide qualified American Sign Language interpreters through both on-site interpreting and virtual Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services. The organization is committed to ensuring clear and respectful communication access in educational, professional, and community settings.

In addition to interpreting services, ITCS focuses on interpreter development through mentorship, training opportunities, and professional support. The organization believes that strong interpreters and strong community partnerships create better outcomes for everyone involved.

ITCS also offers tutoring for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children with certified Deaf Education teachers, as well as tutoring in American Sign Language to support language development and communication skills.

With a strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and community collaboration, ITCS works to build meaningful partnerships while expanding access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals across Texas.
