Meals on Wheels Ministry delivers nutritious meals, safety checks and other services that enable older Americans and disabled citizens to remain in their own homes living more independent lives.
Meals on Wheels Ministry, Inc. serves a daily meal to over 2,500 frail, home-bound senior citizens and disabled persons every weekday in seven counties across East Texas. These meals are prepared fresh at the central kitchen in Tyler. The meals are then delivered by compassionate volunteers to eligible persons who cannot provide meals for themselves. This is often the only meal they will have that day.
