About Us
The mission of the SPCA of East Texas is to improve the lives of animals, alleviate their suffering and elevate their status in society.
In 2010, the SPCA of East Texas was established specifically to address the need for a local animal adoption center. Today, we operate out of a beautiful 16,000 square foot facility that includes a modern, inviting, family friendly adoption center housing dozens of adoptable healthy, happy dogs and cats. This building is adjacent to a 20-acre dog park, walking trails and picnic sites for the public to enjoy with their pets.
In 2014, the SPCA of East Texas opened the first local low cost spay/neuter clinic for Tyler. Serving the public, our SNIPPET Clinic has performed over 43,000 surgeries to prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. The clinic offers affordable spay/neuter services and vaccinations to the public.
